About Modern Interiors
An authorized Hunter Douglas dealer based in Monroe, CT, fitting custom window treatments in homes across Fairfield County and the Connecticut shoreline.
How we work
Modern Interiors is a small, family-owned business selling and installing Hunter Douglas window treatments.
There is no showroom: the consultation happens at your windows, where you can see samples in your own light.
Vinny Mata
Founder & Owner, Modern Interiors
Vinny founded Modern Interiors on a simple belief: homeowners deserve a better experience when choosing window treatments. Too many people spend money on products that don’t fit, or end up with unreliable installers.
As an authorized Hunter Douglas dealer, Vinny and his team bring the samples to your home, help you choose, take the measurements, and install the finished order. He oversees every project personally.
Why Hunter Douglas
Four reasons we sell and install Hunter Douglas:
- Made to measure
- Every Hunter Douglas blind, shade and shutter is built to the measurements we take at your windows, not cut down from a stock size.
- A manufacturer’s warranty
- Hunter Douglas backs its products with its own warranty. We’ll walk you through the terms for whatever you choose before you order.
- Product lines worth knowing
- Duette honeycomb shades for insulation, Silhouette window shadings for soft, filtered light, and shutters for a permanent architectural finish.
- PowerView motorization
- PowerView lets you raise and lower treatments from your phone, by voice, or on a schedule you set once.
